Somewhere Begins Again by alittlemoretime
Blurb: When Buffy jumps off of Glory's tower, she doesn't die. Instead, she wakes up in a cemetery with an unfortunately familiar face waiting for her. Buffy soon realizes that the Powers That Be aren't quite as done with her as she thought. Basically, Buffy jumps off the tower and is sent to the beginning of Season 5 by the PTB in order to fix things. If only it were as simple as it sounds.
Season/Episode: Season 5 / any episodes
Featured Characters: Buffy, Spike, Dawn, and Glory. If the Scoobies will fit, that's great! But if not, just those four are completely fine!
Colour theme: Whatever works!
Mood/Style: Dramatic, as the story will be rather angst-filled, but other than that, whatever fits best is great.
Additional Information: If a messy-haired Spike image can be added, that would be amazing. Otherwise, I am 100% okay with anything else!
This story's banner will be created by Irandamay!
Call Me Yours (I'll Call You Mine) by lafillesauvage
Blurb: Sequel to 'The Man for the Job'. Buffy and Spike have been together for one month now and Spike wants to spend the night together to celebrate. He takes the gender-swapping potion and becomes female...just as Buffy receives a call from Angel and Cordelia telling her they're on their way to Sunnydale with big news about Glory. Somewhat predictably, chaos ensues, as Buffy gets 'outed' to her friends, Spike gets slut-shamed, Angel kills a guy, and Spike's grand romantic plans all fall to pieces.
Season/Episode: Buffy S5, roughly around 5x13 Blood Ties.
Featured Characters: Buffy, female Spike (I used an app for this previously), Angel, Cordelia, Glory
Colour theme: Dark colours as it's night-time for the whole fic. No specific theme in mind.
Mood/Style: It's quite silly/light-hearted but there are still some dark moments, so the colours should be dark/serious, but the expressions on the characters' faces can be comedic.
Additional Information: If it helps narrow things down, I think the image of Cordelia should be of her smiling brightly, Angel looking shocked and confused, Buffy looking uncomfortable, and Spike looking either smug/self-satisfied or incredulous (a la 'is everyone here very stoned?').

Playing for Keeps by EllieRose101
Blurb: It’s the night before the big battle and everyone’s awake with nerves, but Buffy’s thinking about more than just fighting the First. As she plays poker with the gang to pass some time, she yet again ponders her relationship with Spike.
Season/Episode: Season Seven. Chosen.
Featured Characters: Buffy forefront, Spike in the background. Possibly eye contact between them?
Mood/Style: A little dramatic. I'm thinking maybe a dark/bold green for the background?
Additional Information: Playing cards and/or poker chips

You Learn by bramcrackers
Blurb: After realizing that Angel is still hiding things from her, season 2 Buffy finds someone to cast a spell to help her learn more about his past. She gets more than she bargained for in repeated visions that dump her in Angel's past. Which would be bad enough, but then Spike starts getting the visions with her, too, for some reason. And she could really do without his color commentary on Angel's past.
Season/Episode: season 2
Featured Characters: Angel, Buffy, Spike
Mood/Style: It's dark, since it's a guided tour through Angel's past.
Additional Information: Buffy and Spike are both guided through Buffy's visions by a crow, so I'd love a crow or two in the banner
This story's banner will be created by Dusty!
Older and Farther Away by untouchable
Blurb: What if the monks had given Dawn to Spike? It’s two years after the ordeal with Acathla and Buffy never left LA to come back to Sunnydale in S3. She’s lived for years waiting tables as Anne, numb but surviving, until an advertisement for a nanny job forces her to confront her past in the form of one annoying vampire and a TV-obsessed little girl.
Featured Characters: Buffy, Spike, Dawn (Dawn is about 8 in this story, so any pictures of her will have to be younger than MT actually was in the show).
Additional Information: I'd like kind of a grey or blue color theme, maybe hints of LA or a cityscape in the background or something.

A Call from Home by DeamonQueen
Blurb: Buffy is mourning Spike after he died at the end of S7, Dawn is the only one who knows this and she is mourning her friend as well. Then the youngest Summers accidentally hears a conversation between Giles and Willow about Spike being alive and that they were keeping this information from Buffy because they think that she's moved on with her life. This pisses Dawn, who steals Spike's phone number from Giles and calls her best friend. Once she has his number, she calls Spike--
Season/Episode: Post Chosen and set in Angel S5, post-Destiny
Featured Characters: Dawn, Buffy, and Spike
Colour theme: I shall leave this to the artist.
Mood/Style: dramatic and happy
Additional Information: None

Redefine the Words by violettathepiratequeen
Blurb: Spike makes a wish to take Buffy's pain away, but what he doesn't expect is for all of it to be transferred to him... including any and all of her negative emotions. Now she's an invincible, unempathetic shell, and he's suffering for two.
Season/Episode: Season 5, around the time of Joyce's death.
Featured Characters: This is totally optional, but Ben, Sineya (kinda), and Dawn will be featured in this story-- as well as Spike and Buffy of course. :)
Additional Information: I've got no artistic vision; feel free to run with whatever idea strikes you and I'll probably love it!

Eviled Eggs by Girlytek
Blurb: What do you call a cross between a Bezoar and a Ghora demon? Game over, man.
Season/Episode: S2/ Bad Eggs
Featured Characters: Spike, Buffy (and also possibly Dru, Angel/us, Riley, Ted, Kendra, the Ghora from S5, Xander, Willow)
Mood/Style: Horror movie poster
Additional Information: Spike in his wheelchair; a hatching egg; the tag line “In Sunnydale everyone can hear you scream”.

Sirens by bookishy
Blurb: When a strange sea creature comes to town and lures Buffy's usual Scooby crew down to the beach, Buffy's left with no choice but to rely on Anya and Spike to help her save Sunnydale from yet another monster-of-the-week. It really puts a cramp in her plan to avoid Spike and his lips until memories of Willow's wedding spell fade.
Season/Episode: Season 4, After
Featured Characters: Spike, Buffy
Colour theme: Blue, watery, ocean-y.
Mood/Style: Light-hearted.
This story's banner will be created by Amina!
Boon by Soulburnt
Blurb: Buffy has been an amazingly effective Slayer.  To honor that, the Powers That Be grant her a one-time boon.  The only catch?  Her friends get to pick it for her.
Season/Episode: Season 6, after 'Normal Again'
Featured Characters: Buffy, Anyanka, Spike, Angel (Giles, Dawn, Xander, Tara, Willow)
Additional Information: Unique, important element: The PTB deliver classy, high-quality stationery to the Council for Buffy's friends to record a wish for her. The heavy, cream-colored envelopes are embossed with each name (e.g., 'Dawn's Wish'), There are seven envelopes, one each for Giles, Willow, Xander, Tara, Dawn, Spike, and Angel. Some other things from the story that could be used: Buffy learns about Connor's existence, so a minor element like a baby rattle? Spike riding his motorcycle. Anyanka granting a wish.
This story's banner will be created by Axell!
Choice by Sigyn
Blurb: Buffy never chose to be the slayer. She was called, chosen by fate. The world was in danger and she had no choice. Now the Slayers are called again, and Buffy is called on to do another job. It just feels as if fate hasn’t made the right call this time.

Story is a prequel to Child of Shadow and Bitchin', highlighting why Buffy "Retired" from Slayer General (administration) and went back to slaying in person.
Season/Episode: Post season, Buffy and co older, Spike the same.
Featured Characters: Buffy, Spike, everyone else is in it, but mostly the focus is on Buffy.
Colour theme: ???
Mood/Style: Thoughtful.
Additional Information: Finding images of SMG the right age with the right expression on her face, (not Smiling For the Camera, because this isn't a smiley fic)is really hard, but I did find one photo shoot which includes this image, and her expression is about right in it.

Little Do you Know by VampyricRose
Blurb: Season 7, Buffy calls Spike while he's away searching for answers to tell him she's ready to talk about what happened (AR); emotional revelations; comfort sex fic (sorry thats all I have right now lol)
Season/Episode: Season 7; Empty Places, Touched, Seeing Red
Featured Characters: Spike and Buffy.
Colour theme: Earth Tones (Greens, Browns, Golds)
Mood/Style: Comforting, Loving
Additional Information: The only imagine I know I want is from touched where Spikes holding her while she sleeps and goes to kiss the top of her head (34:44 ish on Hulu)

Call Me Maybe by bewildered
Blurb: Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy. But here’s my number, so call me, maybe?
Buffy’s got a lot on her mind, what with Parent-Teacher Night, French verbs, and a crush on a vampire who won’t even commit to a night of dancing--but all that goes away when she meets someone new at the Bronze. One dance and she’s giving him her number, but will he simple things up for her, or just make everything worse?
Spike came to the club to scope out the slayer, but ended up leaving with her phone number in his pocket. The perfect tool to entrap her for the kill--if he weren’t haunted by her smile and the realization that he’s doomed. Now there’s just one question in his mind--will he pick up the phone and dial?
(Spoiler: He will. Or there wouldn’t be much of a story.)
Opening premise based on the song “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen, though it will not actually appear in the fic because it hadn’t even been written yet in 1997.
Season/Episode: Starts s2
Featured Characters: Spike, Buffy. At this point I don't know (or prefer not to reveal) which other characters may rise to prominence & happy to keep the visual simply Spuffy.
Colour theme: Any
Mood/Style: Story is fluffy, enemies-to-friends-to-lovers romance with a HEA, and most of it is long-distance. Something light and upbeat but not too busy would be awesome.
Additional Information: You don't need to use pics of Buffy and/or Spike with a phone, much prefer to have season-appropriate images. The scene in School Hard where Buffy is dancing in the Bronze and Spike sees her is pivotal (obviously lol) but you don't have to use those images exactly. Happy to share more in-depth story notes if you need them!

Waiting By The phone by sweetprincipale
Blurb: Summary-  Something's wrong with Buffy. The headaches are coming, the vision blurs for split seconds, and she's losing time. With her mother's medical history, she begins to worry about what might be happening to her. Her friends are all too busy with their own lives to notice something is off. Spike is the only one who realizes something's wrong. When she's left alone, waiting by the phone for test results, the man she pushed away is the only one who remains, vowing to stay with her no matter what. Buffy realizes that she doesn't want to live the rest of her life (long or short) without Spike by her side.
Season/Episode: Mid/Late season six
Featured Characters: Buffy and Spike
Colour theme: Anything but yellow or orange
Mood/Style: Dramatic
Additional Information: The image of Buffy sitting on the backsteps after learning about Joyce's illness would be good, or an image of Buffy looking very worried and Spike being close by her, patting or comforting her. Hospitals or phone could be in the background, but I don't want Buffy in a hospital gown or in the hospital. The only story takes place outside of the hospital.

London, Calling by Cosmic Tuesdays
Blurb: Spike reminisces about a pivotal moment in his human life to Buffy.
Season/Episode: Post-canon
Featured Characters: Spike, Buffy

The S-word by DarkEternity96
Blurb: What if, amidst the throes of passion, Buffy accidentally calls out Spike's name instead of Riley's? Talk about a Freudian Slip...  How will Captain Cardboard react? And most importantly - how does Buffy really feel about the bleached blonde pain in her ass? Set in the aftermath of Something Blue.
Season/Episode: Season 4
Featured Characters: Buffy and Spike (and potentially Riley looking pissed off!)
Colour theme: Light, bright, pastel colours (pink? Or maybe yellow? Baby blue? You decide!)
Mood/Style: Light-hearted, comic, romantic.
Additional Information: I’d like the artist to have creative freedom, but I have a few potential suggestions! I’d definitely like Buffy in the foreground, looking distressed/confused! Another option could be having Buffy pictured sleeping, with a sexy ‘dream scape’ of sorts around her… An interesting image could also be Spike’s hands cuffed, with Buffy on top of him - abstractly faded in the background? Some definite handcuff imagery would be cool! I definitely want Spike himself to be quite in the foreground, with his trademark devilish smirk! If you also want to include a picture of Spike and Buffy, an intense image from Season 6 would be fitting. This fic is set in Season 4, but some season 6-esque shenanigans will definitively be occurring! And as previously mentioned, if Riley is pictured he will NOT be looking happy! Preferably looking in the direction of Buffy/Buffy and Spike… I’m not fussed about whether the banner is sparse or busy. Whichever of these suggestions you think fit best!

Use It or Lose It by Dynamite
Blurb: Buffy has settled down. She's done being Slayer, comma, The. She's finally living the life her mother always wanted for her. Minus the wedding ring or romance. Which is ok. Romance and Buffy are unmixy things. So what if she can't put her fist through a demon's chest anymore. Life is all about compromise, right?
Season/Episode: Post-season
Featured Characters: Buffy, Spike, Dawn, Pike, Angel (in a wheelchair), Willow, Faith, Giles, Buffy's daughter (still a baby around a year)
Additional Information: I was inspired by a Wonder Woman image that I'm working on getting tattooed. Wonder Woman is slaying a Minotaur with her son strapped to her back and a massive sword in her hand. Wonder Woman stops to breastfeed her son immediately after slaying the Minotaur.

The Case of the Old Bench by tbd
Blurb: Still working on this - but basically a very old bench that acts as a portal. A little boy comes to Buffy for help and gets Spike instead. Things don’t go as planned and soon it is Spuffy trying to fix everything.
Season/Episode: S5 after Glory tortures Spike - so right after ep 18
Featured Characters: Spike, Buffy, a little Glory
Colour theme: Whatever artist likes
Mood/Style: leave it up to the artist & whatever they think is best
Additional Information: maybe a scene where they are on bench (if it exists?) or just an old bench covered in vines/ or ivy or flowers? But really leave it up to the artist!

Railway Tracks by Tellhulla
Blurb: Season 7, instead of the scythe Buffy finds a charm that instantly sends her back in time to the exact moment she was chosen, except this time she is not called, in theory this is her dream come true, she no longer has the responsibility or the short life span and the world is no longer ending but after so many years of living her calling Buffy had finally embraced it and being strip of it soon proves to be a nightmare, Buffy just can’t stay away from a world that’s no longer hers and that includes Spike.
Season/Episode: Season 7 and pre-series/season 1
Featured Characters: Buffy, Spike
Colour theme: I was thinking about emulating the colour scheme of seasons 1 and 2 but I'll accept it if you think it doesn't look good like that.
Mood/Style: bittersweet but hopeful
Additional Information: The image of Buffy waking up in her bed for the first day of school in season 1 and season 7 older Buffy put together with older Buffy in the background, Spike either in game face and looking dangerous or looking at Buffy adoringly (either could work for the story) Optional: Jenny Calendar and a bunch or initiative soldiers with blurry faces on opposite sides on the background. Also optional: a wall with individual pictures of the Master, the Mayor, Ben and Adam, some of them crossed out and one encircled as if to mark the next target, blurry notes and blood splatter on the floor or walls. I don't want it to look overcrowded, I'm flexible, if you as an artist have a better idea I'll take it.

Love's Call by Joan963z
Blurb: Summary: Buffy is in heaven after the jump from the tower. She meets William Pratt and learns where she made mistakes in her life. When she hears Spike call to her in grief she wants to ease his pain. The powers That Be offer her a chance to return to life and become protector of the hellmouth along with Spike.
Story blurbBuffy’s eyes snapped open. It was Spike, there was something wrong with Spike! She got up and ran to the viewing room. This being heaven it only took three steps. One step away from the bench, a second step to cover the distance and a third step into the viewing room.
“Show me Spike,” she demanded.
The view screen came on immediately. It was night in Sunnydale. Spike laid next to her headstone. The moonlight gleamed off his platinum hair, his body covered by his duster was only a shade lighter than the ground around him.  He clutched a bottle in his left hand, the fingers of his right hand dug into the grass above her grave.
“I’m sorry, luv,” he cried. I’m so sorry. I tried, Pet, I tried.”
A tear ran down Buffy’s cheek, enough was enough; she couldn’t stand seeing Spike in so much pain over her death when she was resting in heaven. She had to find a way to help him. She left the viewing room and ran looking for someone, anyone who could help. The streets, fields, and gardens were empty. There was no one to be found anywhere. Suddenly Buffy remembered, all she had to do was ask a question.
Buffy looked up and shouted into the sky. “Who can help?”
A small grove of trees appeared before her and she walked through them. Sitting on a blanket, under the shade of a large tree was William Pratt.
Season/Episode: story takes place after the end of season 5 and first the first episode of season 6.
Featured Characters: Buffy, Spike, William Pratt - (1880)
Colour theme: Artist Choice
Mood/Style: dramatic
Additional Information: Buffy's headstone. Hellions, motorcycles.

Spike and the Quest for the Gems of Amara by the_big_bad
Blurb: What if the Gem of Amara has another purpose that just providing a vampire protection? What if it’s meant for a noble purpose, to be worn by a champion?  And what if it just happens to be part of a set of rings, and the second ring is meant for a Slayer?
Season/Episode: Leading in to Season 4 and then AU
Featured Characters: Buffy, Spike
Colour theme: Red, silver, black (see notes below)
Mood/Style: This is essentially a quest story, with some dramatic elements, as well as a enemies to friends/lovers story
Additional Information: I think featuring the two rings would be great. I’m not envisioning the Gem of Amara looking like it did in the show - in fact, I think the vampire ring will be a red stone (ya know, for blood!), like a garnet or ruby, and the Slayer ring will be a black stone (for Sineya and the shadow demon), like onyx.

C'est la Vie.... Whatever That Means by Daisy Rose
Blurb: Ethan Rayne is up to his old tricks. He needs a rare artifact known as the Culviate for a wee bit of chaos magic but the thing is, it was destroyed many years ago.  Tipped off by an anonymous phone call, Buffy and the Scoobies find him in the cemetery in the midst of opening a time portal. As Buffy tries to stop him, she's sucked into the portal and wakes up in 1922. In Paris. Not the one in Texas. Strangely enough, the weirdest aspect of that scenario is that she wakes up next to Spike.
Season/Episode: season 5 pre The Gift
Featured Characters: Buffy, Spike, Ethan Rayne, Willow, Xander, Giles, Dawn, and Angel. Hemingway, Gertrude Stein and the Fitzgerald's make appearances too ;)
Colour theme: Not too dark
Mood/Style: Neutral as this story is going to be a mix of dramatic and happy.
Additional Information: Images of Paris/ 1920s motif would be awesome

Stars For Wars Like Ours by ashcrashed
Blurb: There's trouble brewing in Big Sky Country, and it calls for help from the original Chosen One and current General of Slayer, Inc.. Buffy travels to the picturesque town of Bozeman, MT to assist a slayer contingent, and discovers a highly organized crime syndicate terrorizing the tourists, with plenty of muscle and a pesky aversion to sunlight. And it's there, she finds--much to her surprise--a familiar face also working the case, very much alive (though thankfully not on fire).
Season/Episode: post-series for both BTVS S7 & ATS S5.(a mid-20s Buffy, and of course Spike's the same)
Featured Characters: Buffy and Spike
Colour theme: anything night sky (shades of blues/purples, whatever the artist prefers)
Mood/Style: Simple and neutral is great. As it currently stands, the story is a mix of humor and heart (with some angst), so nothing heavily dramatic.
Additional Information: A sky with stars, and perhaps nighttime mountain scenery (Montana or otherwise, or whatever the artist prefers). Happy to provide any additional info if necessary!

Come on Dawn by MissLuci
Blurb: Hell-God Glorificus is convinced that the Slayer has her key.  But the only keys Buffy owns are the ones to her house, her dorm and Giles' place... and maybe…  just possibly…  one to Spike's undead heart.
When it's revealed that the Order of Dagon monks placed the key essence within a very human Bob Barker -- yes that Bob Barker -- Buffy and Spike leave Sunnydale on a sacred quest to protect everyone’s favorite game-show host from the Knights of Byzantium, a God named Glory, and an intern named Ben.
To complete their mission of saving the Bob/key and to keep the portals to all hells and beyond closed so they can stop the apocalypse… again, they will be called to - Come on Down!  They will need to use all their wits to name the prices, all their skills to play the games, and all their strength to spin the wheel so they can win it all in the biggest showcase showdown the world has ever seen.
Can they do it?  Can they save Bob?  Can they vanquish Glory? Will the knights do knightly things with swords and horses? Will Spike fantasize about Buffy pulling a Lady Godiva on one of the horses?  Will Buffy envision Spike clad only in chains? (oops -- I meant chainmail) Why is Ben always cross-dressing? And the most important question of all, can they win -- A New Car?!

This quickly became more involved and serious than I originally envisioned it, but because it's me, there will still be much silliness and much Spuffyness in this extremely reimagined Season 5.

The Prickling of the Stars by JayeMaru
Blurb: After a night of helping the helpless in LA in lieu of Angel, fighting demons and saving damsels now that he's corporeal again, Spike returns to his apartment only to find an injured, tattered Drusilla waiting for him. Sinking to the floor, she practically faints in his arms as her words lead him to believe she's gotten her soul. But it turns out that she was a potential before she was turned and, instead of a soul, she was chosen by Willow's spell to become a slayer. Spike takes her under his protection while she tries to find her way. In turn, she helps him counter the problems cast his way from Wolfram & Hart. Now seeing him with a slayer's eyes, she knows better why he should be with Buffy, his Sunshine.
Season/Episode: ATS Season 5, after Spike gets his apartment (and pseudo mission) from Lindsey.
Featured Characters: Spike and Drusilla. Buffy comes to LA in later chapters for slayer damage-control and Spuffy leanings. Dana the crazy slayer appears in a couple chapters, and is important as another damaged potential who shouldn't have been called. (Happily Drusilla will divert her— as crazy speaks to crazy— and Spike thereby will keep his hands.) A bit of a turning point happens when Spike and Drusilla are pissed that they can't keep Andrew from taking Dana back to Watcher lockup. Willow's spell with the scythe set the story in motion, so if there's a pic of her doing spelly-stuff with the scythe that would be neat to have in the periphery. Wesley gets some dialogue as does Angel, the grumpy W&H CEO (and
Colour theme: Dark-ish since they're vamps and stuff often happens at night, but I have no particular preference
Mood/Style: Dramatic. Ending with Buffy and Spike figuring out their next steps together. So, HFN tending toward HEA.
Additional Information: I've never had a banner before and am open to experimentation. I visualize these scenes, although I don't require them and others would be fine: Spike finding/comforting an injured Drusilla; perhaps there is a scene with wilted Drusilla from BtVS S2 or from flashbacks that might be suitable? Willow doing her potential-empowering spell with the scythe, as mentioned, because that is a "prequel" moment that set this whole thing up. Also as mentioned, I have some screen grabs of Spike's apartment, although I have no clue if they're suitably high-def images since I pulled them from watching online. Timing: Feel free to pass along that I’m open to negotiation regarding a date after 30 September. I don't plan to post until the second week of October at the earliest.

Emergent by Jmfangs
Blurb: Buffy, a seasoned LA dispatcher, is working to move on after pain and loss wrecked her happily ever after. When her brother's best friend and squad mate, Spike, is hurt on a job with the LAFD, she conveniently has an extra room where he can convalesce. A little less convenient is her stubborn attraction to this charismatic man, especially since Buffy has sworn off firefighters for life. Trigger warnings: Mention of non-canonical character death  (Riley) and miscarriage, although both take place prior to the main events of the story.
Season/Episode: N/A, all human, although definitely channels some season 6 Buffy
Featured Characters: Spike, Buffy, Angel/Liam, Cordelia
Colour theme: Fire
Mood/Style: hurt/comfort, sad moving toward hopeful
