New Yorker by birth, South Carolinian by transplant, and wanderer of all places hither and yon.  Wife since '01, mom since '07, and a Buffy fan since the very start.  Yes, on network TV and everything!

On September 29th, 1997, in my tiny Porter Square apartment bedroom, it was me and the WB like every other Monday night.  What changed is that a Desoto crashed into the "Welcome to Sunnydale" sign and I sat straight up.  My life as a reader and a writer, not to mention a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, changed forever thanks to Spike.  

Spike is, was, and will always be my favorite everything.  (I may have made some bad dating choices due to English accents - let us speak of this no more.)  I miss him terribly which is why I am here.  And I always felt that our Slayer got a bum rap, so I'm writing things that will be true to her, but put her in a better place.  That's important to me.

Although I lurked on and off for years, I joined EF in April 2019 and since then, have contributed much more fic than I ever thought possible.  

As a Spuffy fic writer, I will never put my favorites through bad times without a happily ever after.  And I mean a real one, not a fade to black or a, "hmm, maybe that means everything will work out."  Nope, I've gotten gutted by too many fics that were either ambiguous or pulled the rug out from under me and though I might've had a couple stories like that in the past, that's not the way I write anymore because my heart can't take it!  So expect a journey, sometimes a tough one, but always a happy destination.  I promise!
