Summary: When Willow and Tara lose Miss Kitty right before they head out of town, a most unlikely source comes to their aid. 
Spike can’t believe it when he hears an offer to help come out of his mouth. But then again, a combination of questionable eggnog, holiday spirit, and a not-so-secret desire to get in Buffy’s good graces might have something to do with it. 
Buffy’s broken-hearted and just plain broke right before Christmas. Slipping into a holiday funk seems inevitable, until the most unexpected of sights shows up at her door and reminds her that maybe there’s hope for everyone… even a vampire, a Slayer, and a runaway kitten.
 
Set during Season Five with an altered time-line. The same events occur, but earlier in the season. Written for the EF 2022 Secret Santa for the darling RKM. The prompts included Holiday Fic, romance, and helping-hand animals!
