Except it turns out Spike had a demon parasite living in him without his knowledge. And it got Buffy pregnant.
With an accelerated and dangerous pregnancy, Buffy's got less than a month before she officially becomes a mother, but luckily she's got the guy she just recently realized she loved on her side. Hellspawn or no, that kid is theirs, and no sort of prophecy is going to keep Slayer or vampire from loving them.
The only danger they'll be in is Spike spoiling them rotten.

Summary: Life was changing really fast. Buffy was a mom now, Spike was the love of her life, and Dawn was still a total nuisance. After an encounter with the Dracula, Buffy is reflecting on what it really means to be a Slayer, especially now that she has demon allies and loved ones.
Her deep thoughts are interrupted when her former enemy gets a massive upgrade and teams up with a Hellgod to turn Sunnydale into a hellscape.
