Well, and not that this helps out one itty itty bit, but apparently I've currently got CRS (Can't Remember S@$t)! After finding the story last night, my annoying and uncooperative brain has put part of another into the mix! Spike's the one who does the CPR and saves her. Can't remember the name!!!

I know that feeling, sometimes I what a "Previously on ...." to help me keep track of which WIP I'm reading especially when I have several in the same season that I'm reading.....

MrsTattooedButterfly you might be thinking of Remember When by tempestt (which is a wonderful WIP) it's not exactly right but close. I recommend it in any case, one of my favorites.

Valerie21601 thanks for the warning. It's surprising how reading a fic like that can haunt you. It's like you need to cleanse your brain with lots of fluffy Spuffy for a while. It happened to me once also and I couldn't read anything remotely angsty for months

Thanks so much for the news on that story, really don't want to read that!! Does need some help finding a story though. Knows that Family is part of the title, Angelus is back and has Dawn in a cave with wheelchaired Spike, who ends up brutalized by Angelus to save Dawn. I keep finding & losing it

Valerie, I' m sorry to say I had the displeasure of reading that fic, it is horrible and demeaning. Flat out gratuitous torture. I'm still freak out by it.

Count yourself lucky in NOT reading it. Spike would rather take Buffy down in a fight, to the death, not break her spirit and controlled by him, for the rest of her life. Yuck!

In their profile they claim to LIKE BtVS series, but it comes across that they really don't know much of anything about Buffy and Spike, at all. It's in the details, where they're so OOC you can't, but think it. They have other BTVS posted, after Unwillingly Yours, I wasn't going to read any more.

In it Evil Spike tortures Buffy until he destroys her emotionally and breaks her spirit forever. It is a Spuffy Poser. Count yourself lucky if you haven't read it already. I have nothing against Dark Fics and have read my share of them, but I don't like it when it's not what it says it is

glitch, a hacking attempt, and overzealous search bot, etc... The site seems to be fine again (knock on wood), so hopefully it was a one time thing. Keep in mind when issues arise, our tech dept. is me and, uh, me. I may not be able to look at the issue or update you guys right away so be patient

Thanks! Yes, it really was my birthday, and no, I probably won't kill you, puddin . As far as Mondays site issues, unfortunately, I don't have any real answers as to what happened, and our host doesn't either. Our resource usage went through the roof, so it could have been a software
