Edit Shouts

If you're not signed up as an author or artist for the Reunion Challenge, that's something you need to quickly correct.

Speaking of correcting (note the amazing segue), we know it's frustrating when you accidentally leave a typo in the shoutbox and are unable to fix it. Because we feel you're your pain, we've made it so you now have the ability to edit your shouts when the need arises. In order to edit a shout, you'll need to head to the Shoutbox Archive (there's a link to the archive below the shoutbox itself on the main page). In shouts you've written, you'll now see a link that says [Edit Shout] (highlighted in red here for emphasis):

Click the link and you'll be able to edit the shout and resubmit it by clicking the edit button. When you click edit, and the shout is updated, you'll be taken back to the beginning of the shout archive.

The majority of this was coded while I was being fueled by caffeine and The Weather Channel, so let me know if you notice any glitches.

Wait a minute ... is it even the Shoutbox if I don't appear to be a kindergartener when I write in it?  heart
