Between the end of Season 3 and the beginning of Season 4. (Angel’s gone, Spike is with Drusilla or at least trying to get back in her good graces.) Titel is optional.

Apocalypse-time! And like so often a prophecy turns up. To avert a black hole in the middle of nowhere sucking up the whole world, two vampires have to marry. At least that’s what Giles and Co. interpret into the text, but wording is tricky. But the real problem is,  vampires? Not so big on weddings, at least when they’re not eating the entourage. And the whole „not able to love“ thingy, because demons…

The only vamps anybody can think of are Spike and Drusilla and they are in Brazil.

So, Road Trip! They have two weeks to find Spike and Drusilla, get them to agree to marry and travel with them together to the black hole. Easier said than done.

Between getting Drusilla to agree, making sure that she isn’t wrecking harvoc on the trip and the horrors of travelling crossroads with a bunch of humans and two vampires in general, it doesn‘t help that Buffy‘s beginning to think positive thoughts about Spike. But it’s all too easy after her own dating horror and Angel scampering off to look at Spikes enthusiasm at the chance to marry his cheating longtime girlfriend and his caring nature and not think „Why not me?“

How you solve the whole thing is up to you. Do Spike and Dru have to marry? Is there a loophole? Did they read the text wrong? What actually has to happen to close the black hole?

And on the Spuffy front: Does it end with Buffy and Spike on friendly terms or more? Is it just a seed planted or does it end in  a relationship? What is with Dru?

What I need:

• Road Trip fun!
• Spike giddy about the prospect of marrying
• Buffy beginning to see Spike in a different light

What i don’t want:

• Claiming (I know it seems like a prime opportunity, but please don’t.)
• An angst fest OR a total crack fic. A lot of funny whackiness enwrought with insightful sections would be lovely.
