Summary: Dracula lets Buffy drink off his blood. This introduction of demon blood into her system awakens the demon essence that is the Slayer's power, she finds consuming demon blood makes her stronger, quicker to heal, and sometimes (depending on the demon she feeds upon) gives her temporary specific magical abilities. The Slayer essence insists she feed else her body will consume itself from within. The less she feeds the more feral and weaker she becomes. So now she most learn to control her thirst and who better to learn from than her very own Master Vampire Spike. Human and animal blood does nothing to sate her demons thirst. What Dracula did is the same power up that the shadow men would have offered
