I'm a latecomer to the world of Buffy fanfic. I watched the first two seasons when they originally aired, and fell in love with Spike. Never was a fan of Angel. Then I didn't watch the show for a very long time. A few months ago, something prompted me to go back and watch what I'd missed and, boy, did I miss a lot of good stuff.

And a lot of bad stuff. 

I'm a big believer in writing as much in canon as possible... though I will throw it out for the sake of playing with plot. And that's the lovely thing I've discovered with Buffy fanfic: alternate realities actually work. 

Things you won't catch me doing: 

• Baby Fics (not a fan)
• Major character deaths (I like happy endings)
• Vampire!Buffy (just seems wrong)
• Making characters act out of character without reason

I do believe in:

• Writing as much in canon as possible
• Writing character voices as accurately as possible
• Epic storylines
• Plausible and well developed character arcs
• Snark, banter, and happy endings
• Oh, and the occasional smut ;)

I got bullied into starting up my livejournal again, and I'm also archiving my fic there. I tend to post chapters there, first.
