This story will be in drabbles. As I was writing the outline for it, I thought the format would work pretty well with what I wanted to do. I have to admit I was also a bit inspired by solstice and her fic Second String (which is really wonderful if you haven't read it yet). If you prefer longer chapters, this might not be for you.
I never really cared for the way the Spike and Dawn friendship was swept under the rug about halfway through season 6, and I've had this challenge saved for some time now. It's been raining all day here, so I thought I would take a chance and post. It'll be Spuffy (and a much healthier Spuffy), but not right away. It's my first season 6 fic, too.
The title comes from a song of the same name by Kim Richey. It played on AtS during season 5. :)
