Summary: More or less a sequel to "A Raising In the Sun."   However, all you need to know is that Willow brought Buffy back to life using Dawn's blood and William's soul, and Buffy does not remember heaven. n.b. I started writing this in September 2001, when "Amends" was the only canonical source of information on the First Evil, and finished it in May of 2003. Naturally I got Jossed a number of times in the course of writing. Some of these inconsistencies I revised to accord with the show's canon before completing the story. Others I decided to leave as is, specifically the First Evil's appearances as living people, and the fact that some of the Harbingers in this story are cabable of speech.
