2015 was a very active and prolific year for Elysian Fields, and our stats are here to prove it (for reference, see our 2014 stats here). This year we held our first ever challenge month, and it went so well that we decided to do it again. We attempted to slay the email eating monster (and were slightly successful). We added beta and shoutbox search options, daily email digests, new categories, drabbles, and many other behind the scenes tweaks and fixes to try and help the site keep up with the times and to run more smoothly.
2016 will be Elysian Fields' 10th year online, and it is shaping up to be another big year for us. During the year, it looks like we will welcome our 4,000th story and our 15,000th member.

Wow. Number three, and I only joined in May. What this tells me is that I'm a writer again! Woohoo! Thanks so much everyone at EF. I would never have done it without all that support and encouragement I kept getting.
Holy crap! Congrats to everyone who made the lists this year. I'd like to point out that the #10 most prolific reviewer this year had a higher review wordcount than #1 last year. That's pretty damn impressive. And also magnus had 5x the review wordcount of last year. Y'all are great!
Wow, comparing to the numbers from last year really puts it all in perspective too! Thank you EF for inspiring all that word count!!! Not gonna lie, I'm tickled pink to be on the list, even at #9! Prolific is not a word I would have applied to my writing before coming here! And for more perspective, this is about 4 times the word count of my completed anime fics, which were written over a span of 8 years! Spuffy and EF 4-eva!:D
I took most of this past year off from Spuffy fanfiction and still made the list? You've inspired me to be a better reviewer than ever before! I am so very glad that Spuffy is still going strong and going up, even. EF really introduced ne to some great things, including some realizations about myself. Good work to everyone involved. I am ready to help make 2016 even better! :D

Wow, I made the reviewer list AND got Reviewer of the Month this year?? *mind iz blown* I would never have come out of my shell the extent to which I did this year if it had not been for the amazing mods and members of this community who are so welcoming and supportive. There's an astounding amount of talent here :). So, glad Spuffy continues to live on in communities such as this one!
Congratulations to all our Moderators, the writers and all our members for making this such a great and successful site - EF just keeps getting better and better. The good changes made this year really helped bring new sense of "Making All Better" -

I don't know what I'd do without this site honestly. It's become my favorite place online.
Holy smokes I JUST saw this...I only started writing at the end of May so that word count is blowing my mind a little. Granted, moat of that came just from one story but still! These stats are amazing. This site is amazing. The people here are more than amazing. Wow. So awesome!
I think I made a goal I set for the first time in forever (aside from, you know, I will write a chapter a week, I will post every other week - so maybe what I actually mean is a goal that in influenced by outside factors, not just me) . . . I wanted to be on the list of most prolific writers, and I just barely made it :-) Yay!
Wow, since last year we have doubled almost everything.

Glad to be a new memeber of this community. The quality of writing, creativite use of characters and activity at this community are amazing. I'm going to put more effort into reviewing stories. I appreciate what goes into them, but sometimes I just can't stop reading long enough to stop and review!
One of these days I post my own fic. Been doing a ton of writing but haven't gotten around to putting myself out there.
