7/7 update: Email issues should now be resolved, and you should be receiving story update and digest emails normally.

7/6 update: The issue preventing people from responding to reviews should be cleared up, so you can't use site problems as an excuse anymore wink. There is a lingering issue with email notifications, and some people are getting multiple emails, while others aren't receiving them at all. I'll look into it today and will try to get it resolved as soon as possible.

First off, I want to say thank you to everyone for being patient while we deal with the glitches that showed up when we were unexpectedly moved to a new server. Overall, things are working as they should, but there are still a few things that need to be addressed, and I'm sure there are a few more that will pop up along the way. I just wanted to take a minute to go over some things that would be helpful while things get back to normal.

1. If you notice a problem, please let me know about it via a PM or an email to the site email or my address (on my profile). If you post about it in the shoutbox, there's a chance I may not see it, and even if I do see it, I don't have a record of it to easily pull up. Plus, there's usually only so much information that can be conveyed in a shout. If you're just looking to see if others are having an issue too, the shoutbox is fine, but don't assume that your shout will be seen by an admin, or that any result will come from it.

2. If you are contacting me due to a site issue, I need as much information as you can provide. I need to be able to see the issue for myself to be able to try and fix it. Let me know the exact page you were on, exactly what happened, the exact text of an error message or a screen shot. If there's a problem with an email from the site, send me the entire message. The more information, the better.

3. Everyone has been very understanding, but I do occasionally get rather snippy or panicky messages when something isn't right. Please be patient and remember that, while larger archives have full teams of coders and buckets of money for servers, the entire EF tech staff is little old me. That's right, one woman, who also has a job and a family, and who does this in her free time. Today is the first day since the migration that I've been able to sit down and really look at what's going on for more than a few minutes at a time.

Thank you Susan for all you do! I know I can get "panicky" when my beloved EF isn't working! But it's just because you do such a fabulous job of making everything appear seamless! And of course, my Spuffy addiction!

You are a treasure, I've said it before and mean it from the heart. I hope you don't get many (or any) snippy remarks because you are doing this as a labor of love and getting no compensation at all. You squeeze us in to your very active life and we are grateful for it. Indeed most of the time everything is so bloody seamless we might appear to have hoards of paid tech people and not have it work that well.

I never lose a blink of rest worrying that EF is in the best of hands.

Susan, you do an AMAZING job. This is without a doubt one of the best archives I've ever been on in over 15 years of fandom life. The customizability, the search filters, the bookshelf PLUS favorites? Phenomenal.
