Somehow, Buffy finds out Spike came back among the living after he died closing the Hellmouth, only to die again a few months later because of Angel's stupid idea to take on an army of demons.

At first, she's hurt Spike didn't bother to let her know he came back but quickly realizes her stupid vampire had let Angel convince him she was better off without him.

Then she gets angry. Oh, she's so gonna kick his ass as soon as she gets him back, because she will, even if she has to make a deal with the devil itself.

She goes to the Oracle, but they refuse to help, so she goes to Africa. She finds Lloyd, passes his trials, and asks to be sent back in time to convince Spike that she really loves him, so when he comes out of that damn amulet, he goes straight to her.

Lloyd tells her he can send her back in time but she can't come back in her own time, she has to relive her life, but as a token of goodwill, she can keep her memories. He claims he's sending her to the exact time Spike began developing feelings for her, snaps his fingers and she's gone.

Buffy blinks and stares into the glare of the headlights as a familiar figure steps out.

"Hullo, cutie."

Buffy's too stunned to react at first, dumbstruck by the fact Spike began falling for her since they made the truce.

Then, she springs into action. What Buffy does next, or how Spike reacts to a smitten Slayer, it's up to you. Do what you want with it.
