Summary: When Hell-God Glorificus arrives in Sunnydale, she becomes suspicious that the Slayer knows where to find The Key. But the only keys Buffy owns are the ones to her house, her dorm and Giles' place... and maybe… just possibly… one to Spike's undead heart.
Buffy’s track record with guys hasn’t been the best, but Spike’s steadfast support and teasing affection is slowly breaking down the walls she’s built around her own heart, one tiny chip at a time. (see what I did there?)
When it's revealed that the Order of Dagon monks placed the Key essence within a very human Bob Barker -- yes that Bob Barker -- Buffy and Spike must leave Sunnydale on a sacred quest to protect everyone’s favorite game-show host from the Knights of Byzantium, a god named Glory, and an intern named Ben… who apparently rents a room from the god of bad perms?
So, buckle up kids, I’m putting the hammer down on Season Five!
Never fear, there will still be chainmail, scabby minions, and many heroics from our heroic, uh… heroes.
