Summary:

So... I'm obsessed with Joss' movie In Your Eyes. If you haven't seen it, you should do so. It's on Netflix and Vimeo. Anyways...

What if Spike and Buffy were mentally connected? Ever since Buffy was little, she's had weird moods, weird dreams. She's been knocked unconscious without anything touching her, had days where she could hardly function due to a hangover, fallen to the floor after feeling like she's been hit. But she's also seen wonderful things, grand sites around the world, bands playing all types of music, and an age old love for a beautiful mentally-ill woman. It's all a little much for her parents though, especially when she's called as the Slayer and burns down her school gym to get rid of some vampires.

Spike doesn't know where his dreams and visions of quiet suburban life come from, but he remembers when they started. Half way through a bloody, drunken brawl and suddenly it's like his heart is beating again. He can hear it fast and loud in his ears. And then he sees a gym, a cheering crowd, he's up high, held up on the hands of three girls. Until he's falling. He lands hard and his head hits the gym floor. He's almost dusted that night when he falls unconscious in the middle of the bar. He would have been if Dru hadn't been there to save his ass. But it's worth it to feel alive, to see the sun again.

It's when Buffy is in the mental ward after burning down the gym that they first communicate. A little focus and they can connect. They can see what the other is seeing and hear what the other is saying. They talk for hours a day about everything, even after she's released from the hospital and moves to Sunnydale. Well, almost everything. What they keep secret is that one is a Slayer and the other a notorious vampire. That is until Spike shows up in Sunnydale looking for a cure for Drusilla and the head of the Slayer.

But how do you kill someone who you've shared everything with, who knows you better than anyone? After getting over the initial shock, Buffy and Spike strike a truce. He'll keep Dru and his people out of trouble and she'll use her resources to find a cure for Dru.

How things develop from there is up to the writer, but I would love to see what happens if Spike and Buffy start out knowing the most human parts of each other and the truth of who they are underneath the big bad personas. How do they handle being in love while also loving Angel and Drusilla? What finally drives them together?

Summary: Buffy Summers has never been normal. Since birth, she's been able to see the world through another person's eyes. It just so happens to be the eyes of the world's most vicious vampire, Spike - aka, William the Bloody. To Spike, Buffy is a normal teenage girl with a few rough patches that landed her on the wrong side of the tracks. To Buffy, Spike is a regular Joe in love with a crazy chick. What happens when the newly activated Slayer moves to Sunnydale, falls for Spike's worst enemy, and finally meets the man behind the visions, only to find out he's a master vampire looking for a cure for his vampire love, Drusilla, and the head of the Slayer? In other words, her head. A story of a Slayer and vampire desperate to look beyond who they are individually for something their destined for together.
