Summary: Buffy finds out about the final battle of L.A and rushes in to try and save the day. But time and fate are cruel because she arrives unable to stop anything and too late to save the man who fought to be what she deserved. Betrayed once again by her one-time love and a father figure, Buffy is left only with a memento of the man she loved too late and memories of their moments together.
And all those moments would be lost in time, like her tears in rain...

Story Notes: Hi, everyone, I'm back.
I'm still writing my original fiction at the moment, but I will be popping in and out with stories and the like. I have something else in the works at the moment as well, but fair, fair warning that if I decide to upload it, it WILL NOT be for everyone. It will be rather controversial and will be dealing with issues that I myself feel very strongly about in real life. I'm writing it as a challenge for myself to broaden my horizons as it were. Be on the look out for it, but again...it may not be for you.
So this fic is something that just came to me out of the blue one day while I was writing my own work and it just would not leave me alone until it was written. I'm afraid there is no happy ending in this one, very angsty this one...and not friendly to Angel or Giles. I aim for this to be part of a series of one-shots all linked together into one-verse. Just don't expect a regular update pattern for anything, it will very much be when my Spuffy muse wants a workout write
Anyways, that's all from me, enjoy.

My thanks to Call Me Vera who graciously read this over and gave it her stamp of approval, though all mistakes are my own as I tinkered with it after she looked it over.
