Summary:

I’ve seen a lot of Wishverse fics which include Spike, but being honest, none have really stood out for me in terms of where he could be in that verse.

So here's one. 

Spike goes to Sunnydale like in canon to heal Drusilla, and the Master kills her. Spike forms a truce with Giles in order to stop the Hellmouth from opening (which was the Master’s plan).

When Buffy arrives, she and Spike team up in order to kill the Master. With Spike helping, Buffy doesn't die. 

What now? 

No vampire Buffy, please.

Summary: A Wishverse story in which Drusilla and Spike roll into Sunnydale just before the Master’s plant is scheduled to open. Spike isn’t sure why Dru insisted they drop everything to get to the Hellmouth right now, after declining to travel there before. She says the pixies and the stars are whispering loudly to her about change, which he hopes means they've guided her toward a cure for her guttering health. Of course, since this is Dru, anything is possible.
