Summary:

In the 3rd Season episode “Lover’s Walk,” a binding ritual is accidentally triggered during the fight at the Magic Box, and Buffy and Spike are standing back to back at the right time, in the right place.

Requirements

  • As a result of the ritual: Buffy and Spike do NOT want to hurt each other, they get horny really easily, and they can talk to each other telepathically (no empathy or sensing where the other is beyond the Vamp/Slayer senses they already have)
  • Buffy and Spike fighting; they’re not in love when the fic begins
  • A happy Spuffy ending, they should be in love when the fic ends
  • Angel being the overbearing, manipulative, jealous, stalker that he is
  • Buffy getting all possessive of Spike either because another girl is hitting on him (say human Harmony) or because he got hurt/kidnapped by the Mayor’s flunkies
  

Optional

  • Lots of sex (recommended, but not needed for a good story)
  • Xander and Cordeila, you decide if they make up
  • Oz and Willow? This is pre Tara, and honestly I like both parings
  • Willow, magic… consequences and lessons?
  • Faith… good or bad… sexy-time with Angel or Xander?
  • Have Wesley piss his pants, or an equally scared reaction to meeting The Slayer of Slayers (Buffy might even enjoy Spike scaring the Watcher, but not actually laying a finger on him)
  • Dawn???

Summary: In Season Three’s episode “Lover’s Walk,” Buffy and Spike fall victim to a binding spell that was accidentally triggered during the fight at the Magic Box.
 
How will two sworn enemies react when their utmost desire to bring about the other’s death is now replaced with bizarre primal urges and lusty cravings?  Then add a dash of telepathy, Angel as The Brooding Wonder, the Scoobies, and Giles’ frequent spectacle cleaning, and you have the makings of one helluva ride.  Written for VioletRoze88’s challenge on EF of the same title.
