Summary: The Monks decide not to use a human form as camouflage for The Key and they send it to Buffy in a completely different guise. There is no Dawn.This was written as a response to a challenge so outrageous that I’m the only person who has ever attempted it. The challenge conditions can be seen at the end of the story. It first appeared two years ago but I have completely rewritten it for this posting. 16,650 words in two chapters.
