Story Notes: This story is not a romance, although it will be Spuffy at the right time. If you do not like stories that delve into other aspects of the characters and are more than Spuffy romance, this might not be the story for you. It will have some very dark moments and themes but the Spuffy love will happen.

This is not a fluffy story, but I end it with hope and a happy ending. No “ever after” because that’s not how it works, but, at the end of it all, plenty of hope, because without hope, what have we?
Setting: Very end of S4 with elements of canon till it goes completely AU at start of S5. Glory storyline will not be featured, although Dawn will appear.
