Elysian Fields’ second ever Finishing Months event is over and, gang, you absolutely SMASHED the 2023 numbers!

In total, 36 works were completed during this event, resulting in 23 bronze awards, 9 silver awards, and 5 gold awards! (Members who got silver also got bronze, and those who earned gold also got bronze and silver.) 15 artists, 37 commenters, and 25 beta and sensitivity readers also earned shinies. But that’s not all! 

There were 1,012,143 new words added—yes, that’s right, over a million words just in the event! That’s across 231 new chapters, with total qualifying comments (consisting of a minimum of 15 words on works marked as WIPs) totaling 6,766, of which 5,414 qualifying comments were just from the 37 members who achieved the commenter award alone.

Event works got a total of 2,716 new comments and 6,143 new likes. That is to say, the new words, new chapters, new comments, and new likes stats are for the 36 event fics specifically. 

The Mod Team would like to give a special shout out to Kenijo, who left over 1,000 comments on Works in Progress (as opposed to completed fics) during Finishing Months.
