Spike always knew he was born in the wrong time. He much more preferred old black and white movies over the newer big block busters. Which is why he was a regular at an old run down theater that showed the old Hollywood movies.

Not long after her mom’s funeral Buffy is still in a bad place. She comes across an add that shows that her mom’s favorite old movie is being shown at a theater across town. Thinking it might be a good thing Buffy decides to go see it.

The idea is Buffy and Spike are the only ones in the theater. Either Spike notices her come in an invites her to sit with him....or....Buffy decides to be social and sit with the only other person!

While sharing his HUGE box of popcorn Spike helps her out with some movie explanations and for the first time in a long time Buffy has fun and laughs.
