Summary: Written for the Halloween Challenge at Jossverse. Set during the season 5 episode ‘Family’ after Buffy tells Giles about Dawn but before anything else. Joyce’s headaches will have a different cause than on canon and the discovery of this will be the catalyst for her decision to throw a Halloween party.
