Summary: Two months after Spike sacrifices himself to close the Hellmouth, a shattered Buffy Summers struggling with PTSD finds herself overwhelmed with prophetic Slayer Dreams predicting a dystopian future devoid of all humans and vampires. She must reunite the Scoobies spread across the world and find a way to prevent them from betraying her, all while developing the most detailed, critical mission plan of her life. Throw in the everyday battles and reorganizing what remains of the old Council, and she's in dire need of some trustworthy allies. Surprisingly, her dreams tell her one is back from the dusty-dead, but why didn't he tell her?
And who - or what - is sending her dreams?
