Summary: Sequel to Her Vampire.
A couple months have passed since the events of Her Vampire, and Buffy, Dawn, Spike and Tara are all back together, moving on from Willow's actions. Buffy has recovered from the trauma of her resurrection and is planning her wedding to Spike. She has also resumed training and patrol. With her vampire by her side, she is ready to face the forces of evil once more. But what will happen to her mission when the forces of evil aren't demonic in nature and her greatest ally and fighter is unable to help her?

Thank you so much for your patience for this chapter! I had spent the past week and a half working on it. Got about halfway done but was just stuck. So I took a break in the middle of this chapter to write Her Birthday, a fun little fic that takes place shortly before this story. Then today I came back to this story, decided I hated the entire chapter I had written thus far, and promptly deleted the whole thing. I rewrote the entire thing tonight, so I hope you find it worth the wait!
