Summary: After telling her friends about Heaven, Buffy seems to lose all of her friends. Giles can barely look at her, Willow is constantly looking at Buffy with puppy dog eyes and Xander is constantly trying to pretend like none of it ever happened. Then there's the rent, and Dawn and the social worker, it's all too much. Enter in Spike who's suddenly become the only person Buffy can trust and it's as if Buffy has no control over her own life whatsoever any more.
Next to her crazy domestic life, life on a hellmouth is never easy, which is when more strange things begin to brew beneath the hellmouth. Old foes return, crazy vermin lurk around every dank corner, extraterrestrial life invades the earth and worst of all, Spike has crazy kissable lips. 
Buffy came from Heaven in order to protect the world and her friends, but it is starting to feel like she's trying to save them all from entering her personal Hell.

I couldn't find out which Oxbridge schools our Brits had attended so I decided to go with pretentiousness on Spike and Giles's side and bitter resentment over rival schools on Ethan's side. (I mean that's not part of the story and it's quite useless to mention it here but that's why, if Giles actually canonically went to Cambridge, he now went to Oxford, simply because I didn't know any better.)
