Written for the July 2021 Elysian Fields Mystery Thing. What would have been my punctuation etc., without Twinkle's help? Nobody will ever know, it's a mystery.

I've put a generic Buffy/Spike for the characters, because I'm sure they will be there eventually, but I have no idea who else is going to show up, ask the Mods. Ethan is in the list but Marcie isn't (what?), so I didn't mention either.

Previously, Ethan Rayne and Marcie Ross have formed a dubious alliance to escape from the Rehab Academy for Special Studies, and head over toward Sunnydale intent on revenge.

Previously: Marcie’s plans met with some unexpected drawbacks when she couldn’t find any of her old tormentors, except for Buffy who was whole again, but possibly a cloned robot that sees the invisible. Better going for Ethan, who’d found them a perfect base of operation and had now both a plan and the magical means to make it happen.

Previously: Ethan and Marcie Ross escaped together from the Rehab Academy for Special Studies, and went to Sunnydale seeking revenge. While Ethan successfully cast a curse on Giles, Marcie was frustrated because all the people she used to hate aren’t there any more, except for Buffy, who wasn’t actually one of the bullies in High School. When Marcie was injured while following the Slayer on patrol, Buffy and Spike helped her.

Previously: Giles is still very affected by Ethan’s Cravings spell, Marcie is confused. Buffy’s house is flooded, she’s crushed by all of her problems, and she spilled the truth about having been in Heaven to everybody. Luckily Spike is there, to give support and help the Scoobiesstart researching ways to help Giles. Ethan and Marcie are then caught spying on them—not very efficiently—from an empty shop near the Magic Box.
