And one thing for anyone following any of my other WIPs: The likelihood of consistent update schedules developing for any of them has dropped considerably for the time being. I recently crash-landed in a different fandom, so I'm up to my ears in feelings about a completely different world of characters right now and am not about to try to juggle a bunch of Buffyverse stories at the same time. Double Life will continue as planned, but for everything else...get used to that sweet, sweet suspense. wink

  • Happy Challenge Month! I'm purportedly writing a challenge fic, except I've barely touched it since dumping my ideas into a very short document in September. I have a feeling it might turn out like last year, when I posted the minimally-edited first chapter of Friend and Foe from my phone while in a frozen yogurt restaurant in Salem on Halloween night... rolleyes1
  • This is a bit later than I usually post updates because I procrastinated and also I have been trying to finish the first chapter of my very first fic in another fandom (and I'm posting it tomorrow) and I am feeling a little crazy. yay Thank you for your patience!
  • Because of the aforementioned procrastination and craziness, this chapter wasn't revised as heavily as most chapters are. My betas are all great - I just didn't give them time to stare at it quite as long as usual. If you see something, say something. tongue
  • I was at the last day of NYCC yesterday with beauty and a non-EF friend. The big reunion panel was Saturday, but yesterday there was an abbreviated little mini panel sorta thing. Here is a mediocre cellphone photo featuring a very attractive light stand. beauty and I got to speak to Alexis toward the end of the day, and he was very very kind. heart

  • Rebekah Isaacs was there too! So here, have another mediocre cellphone photo because these BtVS prints are gorgeous. (Also pictured: my friend's wrist and plaid pants.) Rebekah also signed some of my Angel & Faith comics. hearts

  • There were several other EF folks in attendance, but we didn't meet up with any of them because it was tooooo bananas at the Javits Center, yo. If you went I'd love to hear about your weekend! popcorn (There were so many popcorn vendors. The place reeked of popcorn.)
