When Buffy sacrifices herself by jumping into Glory's portal, she finds herself stuck as a ghost and chained to Spike. He can't see or hear her, but she witnesses everything he does. Picks up after Season 5 Episode 22 "The Gift" and the sequel will flow into an alternative Season 6.
