This story just kind of hit me a day after reading Pfeiferpack's Valkyria and being confronted by all of the Memorial Day pictures of servicemembers we have lost in my Facebook feed so I thought I would try my hand at a drabble and (apparently) free verse poetry.  I'm sure it's not the most unique idea ever but I hope you enjoy.
