PREVIOUSLY: Giles pressures Buffy into telling Spike the truth about the baby being handed over to the council shortly after it's birth, but the slayer is convinced that it's best to wait until after Xander and Anya's wedding. Anya's hen party starts off as a calm, quiet night, after a malfunction in the bride's original strip club plans, but soon becomes heated when she starts quizzing Buffy on the paternity of her son. As a result, Willow has to calm her friend down and escort her home. Meanwhile, Buffy is starting to experience especially violent 'kicks' from the baby.

Hello! I have emerged from underneath my hiatus rock! I am back and raring to go to complete this fic as it has always been very close to my heart and I have often thought of it, even when I haven't been in a place to finish it.

Whether you're returning to this story or are just now discovering it, I thoroughly hope you enjoy the ride! 

I am SO thankful to still have my original beta and good friend, EllieRose101 on board with the continuation of this story too 

PREVIOUSLY: The race was on to get Buffy to Ana after her sudden labour pains at Xander and Anya's (successful) wedding. Luckily, she managed to stop the baby in his tracks, but everyone involved has started to really feel the net begin to close in on Buffy, particularly when it comes to Spike and how involved he still is, despite various warnings from the Council for Giles to keep the vampire away from the Slayer. 

Giles, Willow, Spike and the Council are in on Buffy's huge secret, but Xander, Anya, Tara and Dawn are currently still in the dark, believing that the Slayer's pregnancy is just like any other.

Spike doesn't trust Ana one bit, but Buffy still believes that the doctor has her best interests at heart and tries to reassure him that things are under control, even if she isn't entirely sure how healthy the baby is after the scare. She decides to stay with Ana at her home for the remainder of her pregnancy, certain that it's the simplest course of action considering she still intends to hand the baby over to the Council...
