Yes, I expect you all didn't think this story would ever be updated.  Some of my (maryperk) issue with the storytelling is this was JackofSpike's story.  I came up with the idea and was going to post it as a challenge, but she thought it was great.  So, she wanted to do it.   We started it, and I didn't want to throw away 8 chapters of writing.  It's been a struggle.  Tasha, my beta, started to help me, and she was going to do this chapter.  However, I haven't heard from her since June.  I'm really worried about her.

I discovered while looking for information for this chapter that I've been spelling Ardeth's last name wrong.  Oops.  His name is Ardeth Bay which is an anagram for 'death by Ra'.  I've been spelling Bay as Bey.  Oops.  Well, I'm not going to change it now in this particular story.  So, Ardeth's OC cousin is another anagram for 'death by Ra', but a correct one.  Oops
