Silver-Screen Stories by Tanz1975
Summary: A collection of usually unrelated one-shots parodying or paying tribute to iconic movie scenes and, of course, fluffy Spuffy (unless I go off on an angsty tangent).

Summary: It's been a year since the Sunnydale Hellmouth collapsed along with any hope for Buffy to be happy. Without Spike, her life has been devoid of feeling and her only solace is that she's been living in his hometown of London, where he was most alive. Now that Angel and his crew have messed things up monumentally, having left a mammoth clean-up for the rest of the non-grievy Scoobies, Buffy lays alone in the decrepit flat she shares with Giles and Dawn and contemplates whether jumping in front of the number 25 bus before the next Spring-time apocalypse is a good idea.
Meanwhile, a not-quite-dead Spike, who was one of the few survivors (along with Peaches) from the battle against the Senior Partners, has gotten off of a plane from LAX to Heathrow, nervous about the fluffy, sweet, cheesy, corny, tacky, cute reunion he's imagined and planned for when he sees Buffy again…

(Part of a series of fluffy Spuffy recreations of iconic film scenes. (I started with this one because Lloyd Dobler is my second favourite TV/film boyfriend… After Blondie Bear, of course.) The disgustingly bad banner's setting is actually the estate I grew up in and Buffy is standing to the left of the flat I spent my childhood in (where she lives in this fic) and Spike is in the communal park all the estate kids played in. I just couldn't resist putting my favourite characters in my real life.blush)

Summary: It's been a year since the Hellmouth's collapse and lonely, Moon-River-singing Buffy is whiling away her days in New York until her sleepy Sunday is interrupted by an abrupt reunion with someone she thought she'd never see again (no point being vague - it's Spike)...

As a part of my "Silver-Screen Stories" series, this is a tribute/parody of one of my all-time favourite films, Breakfast at Tiffany's (although it is a lot more smutty). However, it is also a tribute to Hubert de Givenchy who sadly passed away this month.
