Oh I just loved this chapter. Although I found the best line to be leaving behind his bag of boom. That is one of the funniest lines I have read. I cant wait for the next installment.

I love Spike's ingenuity. But in the end, all he needed to do was snap Ben's neck. Interesting that he felt no pain, presumably that was the Glory effect.
I hope the decapitating him was enough to finish them both off completely, but I'm little concerned about what might happen to the abandoned Big Bag of Boom...

This is such a great idea, Kathleen! I can't believe the Scoobies never thought of it on the show! Loving that Angel turns out to be as useless as ever. He really is never available when they need him. I think it's probably very true that Buffy just never told anyone that Spike helped during Acathla. It seems grossly unfair and prejudicial, but thanks for making it better!

Not surprised that Buffy thought to ask Angel for help, the only reason she wouldn't was because the writers weren't allowed to do any more crossovers yet...

[Report This]I was wondering if Buffy would be able to remember what Ben said about Glory, but that too got away, it does make sense that the spell would camouflage everything. Too bad though, then Buffy would have remembered that he isn't an innocent.
For some reason I loved the scene with Spike and Clem. I can picturing things like this happening before. Spike telling Clem all about how great Buffy is and he has to try and look interested😊
The scene with D'Hoffryn was great to. He would of course not like Glory causing trouble but he wouldn't do anything just because the goodness of his heart, he is a demon after all. I almost feel sorry for him having to babysit Dawn for a while.

They killed the doc, like really killed this time, I hope. Not that it’ll matter much, if their new plan of dimensional hide an seek works out. It’s a good idea, but I wonder if Buffy will agree to it. Can they trust D’Hoffryn to send Dawn back once it’s safe? Will Dawn want to go there alone? Will Buffy want her to? I wonder if Spike ends up accompanying her, preferably along with Buffy, but someone has to stay and fight.

Giles can be very cold sometimes but I actually think he uses this as a shield of sorts to make it possible to think these things. No matter how disturbing it looks, he do have a point.
Since I saw the banner I really hoped they would involve D'Hofferyn, hopefully he will be willing to help. Hiding Dawn in another dimension would help but they have to make sure there is no strange time difference or other issues.
