so not just buffy and spike leaving - that's a nice comfort. i always thought tara and anya would make a formidable team with buffy, spike and dawn.

Naturally this story must be dark considering what is happening. This is such a big betrayal from the original Scoobies. With these betrayal they practicly killed Buffy too and something new is born from her death. I do like that Tara and Anya will be following Dusk and Spike.
What we could see from the Scoobies was not good they are acting like the worst forms of themself and then expect Buffy to just forgive them like that. Actually not even forgiving, because in their mind what they did was right and Buffy should just understand that.
This will be dark but I also expect it to be good.
No, they don't see the wrong in it, from their point of view they've saved the world.

I can see all three of them making plans behind her back to betray her and murder Dawn. Because, let's face it, they never really trusted her. Before Angelus it was the gently persuasion, after Angelus it became a down deep commitment to the belief that Buffy could only be trusted to be the weapon and they grew a certainty that she was n longer capable of making the big decisions. The use of Tara's powers and ignoring Anya's truths, lost them their loved ones as surely as they destroyed Buffy's.
