Now they have really started to mess up the lives of Giles, Willow and Xander, it is great to see. It was something so very vulnerable about the Bot, it really made me feel for her. I really liked how protective Spike was and how they apparently plan to let her live her own life. I like that she chose a name of her own, Bella is a good choice.
It is good to see that Spike is stepping in when the torture is going to far. In this he tries to protect Dusk from herself or rather from her conscience.
This was such a great chapter, but the vengeance and the saving of Bella.[Report This]
Oh, the wait for this chapter was very well worth it! From start to finish, each of them got some very much deserved comeuppance. But the BuffyBot being treated like fresh meat by Cordy and Anya while having to suffer either a chip or its effects, hiding behind Spike and timidly seeking protection, that was so sad.[Report This]
How to ruin someone's life 101 is the name of the class. Anya being Xander's boss is hilarious!
I love how, despite being a vamp, Spike is almost the most human of them all. How he defended BB, how he cuts the torture short.
Great chapter, can't wait for the Scoobies to meet Lady S'Avenge.[Report This]
small interlude before the dusk storm bits, but it’s an important one – to establish leaders and allies, set out the rules and the why … potent mix of power and challenge, but in the end dawn’s archangels do the job effectively and … creatively, considering the power behind the women and the men …
i love this group! tara's heart went out to the kittens, and just as much as clem and his kind as well when she realized they were truly the food source. pure treasure, and her white power cools and sooths the volative slayers and vampires, as well as rocks her own portion of the group. LOVE SEEING THESE PEOPLE TOGETHER!!
soon we’ll see just how well xander, willow and giles are gonna play …[Report This]
Cool bar fight. Had the vibe of an old tv or movie western. Nicely written.
Gasps of surprise followed her announcement and now everything made sense for the remaining demons. They all knew about family and loyalty. Even the vampires. Especially them. Yup, family means something to lots of demons. Clearly more than to Buffy's friends.
Poor scared Clem. Glad Tara calmed the waters there.
Rack is an idiot and I won't mind him getting his!
The family is growing and pretty well owning the Hellmouth.
“Bite me, blondie,” Faith shot back as she caught Nikko’s flying fist. I've played WAY too much Mass Effect. In the third game, depending on what choices you make, the best character in the game will say "Bite me Garrus. Better yet, bite her. Probably how she likes it." In the context of that scene, and the story in general, you can see why that part of the game popped into my head.[Report This]
Well, that seemed to be a very effective way of announcing their arrival and demonstrating their intentions - at least to the demon community.
Wonder how long it will take for the news to filter through to the relevant humans...[Report This]
This was a great chapter, I mean, who doesn’t love a good bar fight! Cordy with her nails and shoes is hilarious, I love her! I’m also really enjoying Tara and Faith, they complement each other so well. Spike and Buffy steal the show. Hope we get to see some demons scaring the shit out of the Scoobies. Can’t wait for the next chapter!!![Report This]
Now they're getting to the main show.
Seems NONE of them have any remorse whatsoever. They deserve what they get.
Willow is especially awful in her attitude. Payback is going to burn. She's also going to hate that Buffy has a better control of magic than she does (and Faith for that matter).
