We can see how this place and the spirit are affecting them. In many ways it seems to function like on the show with the children spirits.

Giles would choose to try and save the others.

I can see Giles being self-sacrificing.

Interesting that the voice heard of Buffy could be from a different time since it's all like a mosaic of place and time it seems.

Willow has really messed up this time. If you want to remain friends with someone... just remain friend. It doesn't need magic just commitment. Besides people change as do relationships. Some remain and some more on and it's all as it should be. Willow never wanted relationships to ever change (except HERS... she was okay with including Tara once she let go of Oz).

Riley is worthless and I think it's clear he doesn't care about the others at all. He also doesn't respect Buffy's power and abilities.

You have to wonder why ANYONE would just go along with Willow and her magic spells!

Riley watches Buffy sleep and decides to go explore for a bit, she'll be fine on her own. He wouldn't go too far. He gets up, leaving the infirmary and heading down the hall.-----Seriously? What a complete and utter moron. It's a place filled to the brim with dead bodies everywhere and you promise to keep watch but your gonna leave your sleeping vulnerable girlfriend ALONE while you explore ALONE, I hope he gets turned into a big blood meat pile!

Great fic! truly awesome. I was pulled in quickly and hooked. Can't wait to read how the others are faring. It takes great writing skills for someone to be able to completely picture what the place looks like and how things are happening just from your written words, but you have done it perfectly. I have no idea what this cross is from but I can picture every single thing you have described.

So Buffy and Riley got to the same place at least. I suppose that the second earthquake was about Sara's group.

You got the creepy feeling perfectly here. All those classic horror things creates this great creepy feeling. The signs of dead and harmed people the notes they left behind, all good. They also got some information from a spirit.

Much as it pains me I feel sympathy for Riley here. Everyone enjoys to be needed and when he finally gets to feel that Buffy gets angry. Well I suppose he will starts acting badly so my sympathy can go over.

I like this so far.

Added. I just noticed another reviewer and realised that I missed the last line. That was stupid of Riley, now I can let go of so he of my sympathy😀

It does seem very fitting for Willow to find this thing, I'm a bit surprised about Tara doing her own version, but of course we must have all the people there.

It's amazing how naive they can still be. After the things Willow has done one would think that they would be more careful.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see where this will lead.

It'll be interesting to see where they wind up and if they will actually be friends. It was funny but they didn't seem that caring about one another before the ground shook!

I can see Willow wanting this spell. She really was into holding on to the relationships they had in high school forever. The others were more willing to move on.

Look forward to more.
