I really liked what you did with this and how Buffy not being able to hear actually opened up her world a lot even as it isolated her with the way some people just refused to adapt or work with her. I felt so bad for her that she thinks of Kendra as a friend when Kendra leaves while Kendra thinks she's shallow but is jealous of her. But I liked that she and Faith had a chance to meet and that there was an actual friendship there between them. And I'm definitely glad that she was able to get Xander out of her life because he wasn't making an effort - it sort of seemed like he might try at first but then as time went on, that went out the door.

Spike was fantastic. I loved when the Oracles let Buffy hear his thoughts and it was nothing but pure love while Angel's were all creepy and horrible. It's so great that she got to hear his voice because she had a memory, at the very least, of most of her friends' voices (except the ones she made after she came back of course) and that moment when she heard his voice the first time was touching. Thanks for writing this!

Oh this is fantastic! Gunn you dumby, I love him but Sheesh read the room. I'm so happy Doyle is still alive! And him and Cordelia are in a relationship! Awwww! Of course my fave relationship is as brilliant as ever! I wonder if claims aren't myth? That certainly seemed like foreshadowing but ya never know! Xx

It was lovely how she could hear his voice in her head at the end. And I appreciated that her hearing wasn’t miraculously restored and that the story was about people who loved her and her amazing self and she didn’t need to have it back because she was awesome just as she was.

I love Lorne so much! And Doyle getting irritated with Angel was great! Gunn at the end was a nice touch.

I always thought in the later seasons that Anya would’ve been a much better friend for Buffy than Willow and Xander. She had a different perspective and was blunt.

 Thank you lots for such a beautiful, sweet, and awesome story!  It always made me sad how Buffy was betrayed by pretty much everyone in her life, yet she constantly forgave them and they still ended up treating her crappy over and over again.  If only she had treated Spike, who treated her better than anyone else in her life once he got past that pesky wanting to kill his third slayer bit, as good as her friends & family then I truly believe she could have been a lot more happier and had the love life she always dreamed of.
