“Doin’ that in case you have something important to say, not for your wordplay and blather. And not for any more bleedin’ spells. You try that shite, I kill you myself. At least my pain will be temporary.”
- Really love this, can hear it perfectly 💜[Report This]
who would be – in the corner snickering at her, most likely, or glowering at her for hurting Buffy like this.
I know I said it before, but I really love your Willow voice. The way it incorporates all the different angles of her decision making.[Report This]
Was it when you got all soul-y and ate a bunch of rats or was it when you came back to Sunnydale and started doing Drusilla right under his nose?”
- Most excellent point, Dawnster.
if I had a dollar for every time the guy threatened to kill me, I wouldn’t have any dollars because he would have stolen them.”
- I love this 😂 Brilliant.
Thank you 💙[Report This]
Aww, now you've managed to tease out a thread of sympathy in me for Willow, which is near impossible, so, well done :D
Shit? Shit what? I am so glad this fic is already complete so I'm not stuck screaming at the screen where the next chapter button goes.[Report This]
"Wait…these aren’t apocalypse-time research donuts are they? Because if so, I want no part of them.”
- Hehe, love it.
Before her fall, he seemed to be softening up, like an old picture that had gone fuzzy.
- Love this, it's a brilliant, perfectly fitting image for that period :D
And after…he’d been so sad and empty. Lifeless.
- Oof, and now I'm all feels.
I'm so full of curious about what Buffy’s experienced since the spell, burning with it...[Report This]
Love what she saw and thought of it :D
And damn, she could have grabbed that thought to do something sensible and non-magical like actually talking to Buffy, but of course , she's Willow.
probably end up making Xander fall in love with Spike instead.
- Haha, it so would.
But uh oh. I don't see anything she casts going much better...[Report This]
only in this case she’s the one missing something, and it’s kinda her will to live. Okay, down that road the bad thoughts live.
- This is fantastic, love the bouncing rhythm.
Ooh, spell-vision landscape is wonderfully described :D
I'm so hooked now.
Thank you 💙[Report This]
OK, what physically is in “a pinch of good intentions”? And how will she cover it up? Or will she sucked into it?
Again with magic agent under a pillow. Tara knows about the Will Be Done spell. If Buffy starts acting out of character, that will probably alert Tara.
That last sentence. Ego much?
Loved Buffy's conversation with Giles. It was strange. And oddly healthy-shaped? I mean, absolute zero brooding or stewing. Life goals.
"he claps his hands together. “Just the witch I was hoping to see.” Uh oh. He only does that when he’s nervous." - great detail ^^
Nice cliffie.[Report This]
"pig out before shopping so we wouldn’t buy clothes that were too small" excellent attitude
"Before her fall, he seemed to be softening up, like an old picture that had gone fuzzy." Eeee, I love this image!
"She simply says, “I don’t want to talk to you.”" OH yeah. Anxiety-free Buffy has no time for politeness...[Report This]
Oh, huh. So that's why the spell didn't break ... I wonder if Buffy was holding onto it because she sort of knew that when it broke she'd feel the weight of the things that she'd done while under the spell? But while she was still under the spell she couldn't care about what she was doing. Interesting.
Well, things could have ended much, much worse than they did. I think that went pretty well! And I'm definitely going to check out those other oneshots.
Thanks for sharing your story!
Thank you for all your kind and helpful reviews! I'm glad you enjoyed the story and yeah, I did try to end things in a slightly better place than where they started :)
You're welcome! ^^
