I often use the word intense about chapters but this was very intense. I really liked the "exorcism, that long and powerful ritual. And what use is a god if it's a humble one😀
It worked and Buffy and Spike is here, they still had to abort Glory's dimension baby. We have to hope Buffy and Spike will get time to heal physical and emotional from everything they have been through.
I also liked that they could exorcise Glory.

Glory has been busy, a lot of people getting captured and tortured she must starting to be desperate.

Well, this isn't a good turn of events.
Buffy fed Spike, kinda, but they are both still screwed.
Agatha is saved...maybe. Same with the Father.
Connor is in on the action now as well.
Glory is completely off the spool.
Now the vehicle is useless.
Tara is proving quite resourceful though and I love Willow acknowledging the true power of Tara's brand of magic.

It's a television show from my childhood. It was the most educational cartoon I have ever known. My parents bribed me with action figures at the toy store just so that I would get good grades. It worked fantastically
Not a good situation for Buffy and Spike, getting starved like that must be awful. It must also have been awful to get to see all that food just to get it taken away. It felt like a classic bit of torture, a bit like with Tantalus.
With the use of magic, science and math it seems like Buffy and Spike can be saved, I liked how Xander was here. Riley has his issues, but he was actually useful.
Yes, interesting that he can manage to be useful even as he's being a complete dumbass. I feel like he could have done more of that during season 4

Buffy and Spike are in dire circumstances. The positive side of their predicament is that they have no desire to make love much less make babies.
A rather nasty bit of torture having that table laden with goodies only to have it all be lost. Glory is getting desperate. Wish there was a way to just send her home without causing any other harm. She's not going to give up until she's back there.
Magic and science (with a nice side of math) make a great combination. I love that Xander is far from stupid here. He even remembered enough of what Spike had said to be helpful.
LOL Willow would be surprised (they all would) by the things Spike knows and understands.

I think in the television series they made Xander look to be like the standard bible thumper. But it didn't allow him much character development and I felt like it was unfair to his character
Finally got caught up with this epic (I was only 30 chapters behind!). It's a proper rollercoaster saga and I love it's complexity. Will try for chapter by chapter reviews from now on...
