A shamefully-delayed response on my part, but thank you very much for reading and commenting.

A shamefully-delayed response on my part, but thank you for reading and commenting. It takes effort to recall how much more hassle the internet was back then!

"He winced and, horrified, glimpsed a look of fellow-feeling on Spike's face."

haha

I so want a sequel in which Giles' Russian bride arrives, I'm just saying... devil

Now there's a thought!

This was nice and amusing. Giles is in for some great humiliations, just imagine everything Spike can do. I don't think it will take long before they figure out who's guilty though.

Author's Response on October 30, 2016 07:24pm

Figuring it out is one thing. Putting a stop to all the spam is quite another!

Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Brilliant! I can just imagine the chaos Spike caused after they'd all gone!

Author's Response on October 30, 2016 07:25pm

They all seem to think he's stupid, and he really isn't!

Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Oh, dear Lord (yes, channeling Giles here - wait a second while I remove the glasses.)  I'd completely forgotten Woodhouse. She was on US television also, at least in some locations. Mercifully, I'd forgotten...

A dreadful dragon of a woman, but I can't read the word "Sit!" without hearing her inflection.

Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Did I catch a reference to another fictional Librarian in there? Spike seems like the type to enjoy Terry Pratchett...

Author's Response on October 30, 2016 07:27pm

Well-spotted! I doubt if Giles sees himself as an oran-utang, however.

Thanks for reading and reviewing.

Hum...makes me think that perhaps watching Barbara Woodhouse might have been part of a Watchers training in how to keep control of their Slayers LOL.  My sister always said she wished she had taken a class in dog training before she started raising her children (6 of her own, 4 step children and then they adopted a child).  Hopefully a GOOD trainer though.

I always laughed at the name Yahoo because my mind always went to Swift.  Love that only Spike caught the reference and that Giles was uncomfortable with that moment of connection.

LOVE Spike planning mischief.  No bite for the big bad but that doesn't mean he cannot do some damage and do it with glee.  Poor Giles.

Loved this one

Kathleen

Author's Response on October 30, 2016 07:29pm

Thank you, Kathleen. Giles is never very happy to acknowledge that he and Spike had remarkably similar backgrounds, albeit a century apart.

Brilliant!    Way to go, Spike!    Revenge is definitely his. . . . . . .and he is the only one who will know!     Oh, the trouble he can cause for Giles!   Love it!

Author's Response on October 28, 2016 06:59pm

Willow might work it out eventually, but Giles will never get it!
