It was nice that they all wanted to claim Spike as family. It's also good that Spike won't rush into anything with Buffy, it's good to solve some issues first.

The notion that all the Badness in S6 was caused by the FE gaining strength and manipulating them all, actually makes a great deal of sense. I don't believe I've ever seen a fic using this 'backstory' before. Ingenious!

Can't wait to see where you take them, particularly since your Spike has lost his soul.

They really do need to talk, so it's good to see them do that.

It's also wonderful to see that the soul is gone, without that handicap, Buffy and Spike has the chance for something great.

Aww this is awesome. I cant wait to see more from you! I can totally see how the FE was a catalyst in S6. I never understood why it waited a whole year to start playing mind games. Also the spuffy fluff? So cute!.

Good start and I'm looking forward to more. I have some constructive criticism though, it feels a little rushed and there's not a lot of clear breaks between scenes but I love how you have a clean break from the series to your fic and the fluffy goodness going on makes me mushy. I hope you update often a86;a039;

This is actually the first fic I began back when angel s5 first aired here I did make a few changes but it mostly the same as I originally wrote thank you for reading

I am guessing this starts at the end of the fight in alley? 

I am glad to see your Buffy is sure of what she wants and not pulling punches with her behavior, Angel's actions, or her friends' attitudes.

I adored that Xander invited Spike in by calling him Captain Peroxide.  That it works just cements how that name is totally linked in Xander's mind to Spike.  Cute.
