I liked Lorne's way of telling the, no giving away the future or demanding action but still warning. It was tasteful and classy. It was short, sadly, but short IS better than nothing. Buffy has a lot to deal with, and at least Giles can see that. She does not need Willow trying to fix everything right now.
Some Angel redemption, yay! Cordelia really was good for him on his own show. I like joth bashing and redeeming of this character, but.it is more rare to see him in a good.light, so that makes it even more special. Thanks so much, can not wait for tue next update![Report This]
Both Buffy and Angel admitted that they don't love each other anymore. Poor Buffy is still feeling numb, so of course she don't feel love. We can see some real progress in Angel, the little moment with him and Cordelia was nice. Giles is on his way which is good since Willow really need some training.[Report This]
Glad Lorne has told Buffy what she sees in Spike and Angel. She needs to know that to see a way ahead.
I'm a little surprised by Angel admitting to Cordelia that he no longer loves Buffy... just wondering if he's being 100% honest with himself.
I'm slightly less surprised by Buffy admitting that she no longer loves him. The state she's in, she doesn't feel much of anything.
Typical that Xander is more concerned with Willow's feelings when she gets a dressing down from Giles than in what Giles actually said and why. I wonder whether they're going to heed his instruction not to go and immediately apologise to Buffy. They have to go to L.A. to meet Giles and of course, that's where Buffy is. It would only take a slight side trip....[Report This]
It is always nice to see a bunch of secondary characters supporting Spike and Buffy (especially when the main ones always seem to be attempting to crush anything that might develop). Hmm, surprising that Angel and Buffy realized just how not in love they are at this point (although Buffy does have the advantage of not really feeling much of anything right now so obviously she is low on the feeling love scale anyway).
Thanks for the update... no matter the length.[Report This]
Glad for the update.
Happy that Lorne told Buffy, she needs to know. I hope she searches her heart and thinks about how she acted under Willow's spell and opens her heart to Spike.
Angel SHOULD take some of the blame for Buffy's loss of innocence. That was the single event that caused nearly all of Buffy's later problems.
Can't wait to hear what Lorne (I love him) says to Buffy. He said important things to Angel as did Cordy.
Yeah that chip being out would have helped against the trio that's for certain.
Look forward to more. Excellent update.
It was a great Cordelia in this chapter. We can see how much she has grown and changed from who she was in Sunnydale. She made a lot of sense with what she told Buffy. We could see some of her feelings for Doyle and Angel shining through. Lorne also made a lot of sense with the things he said. There are so many things that could be happening after this.[Report This]
What did he see?!?!?! I love that he told Buffy he had no soul and wasn't evil. Spike should not put that thing back in his head and no one should think that he should. I hope Corfy reeeealy lays into Angel. Her talk with Buffy was wonderful, she got right down to the root of everything and wouldn't back down. Go Cordy!! This turn of events has hot me all happy and warm. Thank you so much for updating. What will you give us next? How long will it take Buffy to see the truth of Spike? What is Lorne about to say?![Report This]
Dawn knew how Buffy would react, she apologizd ahead of time. I like the thought of Dawn's teenage mind being in her baby body. This chapter was really good and I love hiw fast Anya and Tara fixed it. I hope Spike keeps the chip out, we don't need to crazy of Riley having to come back to take it out before it killed him. I can not wait to see how your little world unfolds. You've got me hooked. I must know evey detail of what happens next. Please don't take too long, but don't rush yourself either.[Report This]
It was so good! The mental image if Spike holding a baby Dawn in one hand and Buffy's hand in the ither was priceless. I love that Willow took out the chip and no one even noticed. Buffy is all over him and I love it. Will Spike find a pregnant Darla and Daddy Angel hilarious, feel bad for Cordy because Ang could give someone else a child and not her, or will he be happy that Cordy can play step mom? I can not wait to see what happens next! Loving it![Report This]
I'm so happy you posted a new chapter, I was afraid you've abandoned the story.
Loved the second chapter as much as the first one. Really glad Anya and Tara are didn't jump into 'Spike is evil and up to no good' bandwagon. I mean, Willow cursed Dawn and Buff - and Spike's the bad guy? Go figure.
You know, Anya would totally be better off with Gunn. And Fred and Tara? Too cute for words. That leaves poor Wesley alone but I kind of always had a soft spot for Wes/Lilah pairing, so...
And of course, Cordy is awesome, as always. I'm glad she feels secure enough about Angel's feelings for her not to turn into mega bitch towards Buffy in self defense. Those two could potentially be good friends. And yeah, great Spike/Cordy dynamics but again, they've always been very alike character wise to begin with (and coincidentally, my favourite characters in BtVS and AtSV, along with Wes and Tara).
Typical of Buffy to run away, but I really hope she understands the chip is not needed. Why, oh why, the AI gang got it in about two seconds, and the Scoobies never did? Just because you're forced not to do something (harm humans), it doesn't follow you're forced to do something else (help, save their ungrateful backsides, stay when Buffy was dead...).
Basically, I love this fic and hope to read the finished version one day. :)
I haven't abandoned her yet, and I really don't plan on leaving this one unfinished. Glad you are liking it so far, and I will continue writing I promise. Don't give up on me yet.
Of course Buffy ran away. God forbid she think anything good of Spike's motives. After all, the Scoobies and even Giles firmly believed that the Chip is what made Spike take care of Dawn while Buffy was dead. He couldn't possibly be good on his own. If Wesley, Gunn and Cordelia realized that the Chip only blocked violent actions and didn't promote good actions, why couldn't the Scoobies??? Are they all brain damaged from fighting demons without helmets? It's obvious to anyone who isn't prejudiced against Spike.[Report This]
