I chuckled at 'that was almost logical.' Spike's got more brains than most of the Scoobies give him credit for - granted, he doesn't always use it, but you definitely make a good point about his instincts and stuff helping him last over a hundred years.
Ha! Food charms the Slayer! I guess they could also roast the giant pig-thingy.
I'm glad you're enjoying it! ^^
I can't believe she just left Spike there sleeping. It just seems wrong.
I'm sorry it didn't feel in character for you! To me, it made the most sense with where Buffy was in relation to Spike (she kind of helped him in 3x8 and hasn't seen him since, but she's having trust issues because of Angel).
Im sorry, I didn't explain myself well. Character wise, I agree you were spot on. I'm saying in the my Spuffy loving mind it was wrong of her. I mean what if something like a giant sand worm ate him while he was asleep, unaware. But yes, out of the two possibility Buffy would consider staking him or leaving him you chose well.
I thought this was a fluffy one-shot when I saw it in my email. Plus reading it first thing in the morning while tired had me literally saying WTF repeatedly ... update soon, the situation as a whole makes me need it now.
Aww, I'm sorry! I'll update as soon as possible.
