Sooner or later Buffy and Spike had to have this talk. Now Buffy knows what mistakes she made toward him in their relationship. I'm glad that she has been honest with Robin. He's a good man and didn't deserve to be teased by her through the illusion of a relationship between them that would never be possible. Eve's visit was really unexpected.[Report This]
I loved the chapter. I think that after the talk with Spike, Buffy realized that she made a big mistake to break up with him. Buffy thought that it was for his own good, she certainly didn't expect that Spike would end up taking drugs and almost commit suicide with an overdose. Now she can't help but regret her decision. Anyway I'm glad that Spike's friends helped pull him out of self-destructive behavior.
I loved the chapter. The scene where Buffy listened to Spike’s song was really sad. Poor Buffy. She broke up with him because she loved him so much, but he thinks that she didn't love him and now probably he hates her. And that thought breaks her heart.
Nooo... Three Years Later… Ouch! It's really sad to think that they have been far from each other for so long, giving up to their happiness. At least they seem to be satisfied with their work/career. But Buffy is really unhappy. And she can't even avoid thinking about Spike, because everywhere she goes, someone mentions him or there are pictures of him or there are his songs on the radio. That's a very nightmare for Buffy![Report This]
Quentin's talk with Buffy will be the last straw. Indeed, if he asks her to break up with Spike for his own good, for helping his music career, I'm sure Buffy would give him up, thinking that it's the right thing to do.
Great chapter. I loved Buffy's and Spike's thoughts. Both Spike and Buffy were partly right, but they both had even a bit of responsibility in this. The situation of their relationship and those thoughts are well written. All of this seems very realistic to me.[Report This]
The scene at the hospital with Buffy and Joyce was very touching. Buffy has already taken the first step and it's understandable that she didn't want to forgive immediately Joyce for everything. She wants to make sure of the sincerity of her mother, and besides forgiveness takes time and dialogue, and that wasn't the right time.
The phone call was sweet. It's nice to see how Buffy needs Spike in her life.[Report This]
Buffy is right to think that their relationship will have to face many difficulties during Spike's music career. But they love each other so much, and together, they can overcome any obstacle, as long as they communicate and trust in each other.[Report This]
It's weird to see that in this story Joyce - who is usually a kind, compassionate mother - is so cold and tough toward her daughter . Poor Buffy. She has tried in every way to put the past behind her and patch things up with her mother. Fortunately she and Spike have Giles and Dawn on their side.[Report This]
