So, my theory is that Angel is trying to change the past and Buffy has been sent back to thwart his attempts. For the record, I hate Angel. And it has nothing to do with Spike. When I watched BtVS as a kid, Angel always gave me the creeps and I couldn't really articulate why. As an adult, I can pinpoint it. He was kind of a gross pedophile. And manipulative. And yea he wanted the whole redemption thing, but I don't think he ever really deserved it. There was nothing good about him. He was just trying to play at being good for the validation.[Report This]
Ok, first of all, "Pardon Me" has always reminded me of Spike and Buffy! Incubus is one of my favorite bands to listen to when I'm thinking about them. Which tells you that I think about them too much, having a soundtrack for them and everything. Also, I'm frustrated with Buffy because she hasn't thought about why she's been thrown back in time and by whom and that there must be a reason and surely the reason isn't to do everything exactly the same. I'm so excited to see where this goes![Report This]
"it would burn and then there was just nothing left. Maybe that is the difference. There’s fire and then there’s—light—” You're right poetic. You know how to turn over these ideas and make me see new facets in the situation I never saw before.[Report This]
Damn, this was quite the journey! I love this story and this series soo much. I've been reading it all for the past few days, some of it for the 2nd time. It just shows how epic there love is/could be. I fully believe that Spike could have loved her at any of those times...who knows how far back that could be true.
I also enjoyed all of your little references but especially this one-
“Jeremy Bearimy, baby,” Whistler winked.
Can't wait to read more from you! Thanks for writing :-)[Report This]
So, I've been binge-reading your story for a couple of days and I have such strong feelings! This is so wonderfully done, and your Buffy and Spike characterizations are spot-on. You write beautifully. I loved your characterization of William as well, and Buffy's time with his was so sweet and heart-wrenching. I had to finally stop and comment because the tension is making my skin crawl. Buffy's inability to spit out what she's feeling and just be straight with Spike is so true to her character and so utterly frustrating. Ugh. But this is why I love them so much. It's never easy between them.[Report This]
I just reread this amazing fic. I don’t really have anything to add to what I said last, only that I love it enough to go and read the whole thing again. It really is one of the most perfect fics I’ve read, and speaks of hours and hours of work to make all the little clues fit just right. That’s it...I just thought you should know that it’s so good I keep coming back to it. I would wanna know that
Awwww! Thank you!! <3 This makes me so happy!
This whole thing was magnificent; I enjoyed it so much!! Beautiful writing, clever story telling and spot-on voicings. William became so fully real, it was wonderful to spend so much time with him through this story. Thank you SO much for such a transporting read.[Report This]
Such a good time travel story, I always preferred Angel as a villain so I loved that he was the big bad. Enjoyed your mature happy Spuffy. Also loved that Spike and Buffy always choose each other. I also enjoyed that you stayed true to Buffy by keeping Spike helping Buffy but not rescuing her, he's her partner and rock and she's never a damsel in distress, very true to Spuffy.[Report This]
The most beautiful fic I've ever read. The characters, the philosophical content, the plots, the intensity of the dialogues, everything is perfect. What a beautiful journey. Thank you so much. I hope you will be back to write about them soon.[Report This]
Oh gosh, this has been a fantastic ride. I love your writing style, the way you develop the characters, the songs you listened to while writing chapters...all of it. Everything. Thank you for your author's note explaining the philosophy behind souls in your ficverse. I really appreciate the way you see it and it makes so much sense within the Buffyverse as a whole. You, as an author, are - dare I say - effulgent?[Report This]
