When Buffy kills Angel, she gets taken along to hell. Once there, Angel gets killed, and she gets tortured. But there's a demon inside of her - the Slayer demon. She quickly realize she has to get in touch with it in order to survive... Ultimately, she gets crowned Demon Empress.

How does that affect Sunnydale when she goes back? And her relation to Spike? Or for that matter, to Anya, the Mayor, or Glory (two contenders for a throne!) ? How does she react to the Initiative taking "her people"?

That's the premise. Requirements:

- Buffy must still be good or grey.

- Buffy doesn't age in hell, because/thanks to her demon. She can in the real world if you want.

- Buffy's hold over demons is mostly absolute, except for a few leftover ennemies but as in every court, there is intrigue, betrayal, power plays (literally) - and suitors !

As to how or why she becomes Demon Empress, it's up to you. If you want an idea, well, we know all demons are not destruction monsters (eg Clem), so maybe there are some who are seen as 'outcasts' or 'weak' but who really just need a little push and some ammo (Buffy) to take down the big shots...
