Buffy is tired.
Hundreds of Slayers are waking up.
Sunnydale is a huge crater.
Her home is destroyed.
Her mother's coffin is lost.
Spike sacrificed himself so she could live.
But what kind of life is it without him?

All the survivors look at her waiting for new orders.
Buffy wants to laugh.
The same people who only days before kicked her out of her own home now look at her as if their survival depended on her.

None of them ever understood her, yet she had always allowed them to tell her how to live her life.
Not anymore.
No longer will she allow anyone to tell her what to do.
She is no longer the chosen one, let them destroy the life of every new slayer.
She was done.

Buffy never forgave her friends' betrayal, she got over it because they had a war to win, but she did not forget
Buffy leaving the Scoobies. She wants nothing more to do with them or Angel and his gang.
Buffy puts each of them in their place by making them ashamed of their actions
Spike finds out what happened to Buffy and goes looking for her.

Can Have

Buffy has built much healthier relationships that have helped her see her years as a slayer in an objective way
Buffy goes to therapy to overcome her traumas.
