Summary:
On the Hellmouth magic has something to do with sickness.
There is a truth "bug" being passed around Sunnydale. Whether or not the sickness has other symptoms is up too you.(But I did have a funny picture of everyone huddled in the living room with blankets,all sick and sneezing,letting the truth blurt out)But the main one is it makes the person unable to lie and they blurt out the truth no matter how much they want to hide it.
It even infects Spike who hasn't been sick since he was human(other then hangovers lol)
